Fortnum & Mason obviously have a historical link with royalty, and they still do to this day. To celebrate the Coronation, decorated with an original and symbolic pattern, a range of products were designed and are available to buy online and in store.
One item in particular has left a strong impression on me. A musical biscuit tin was designed toplay ‘Land of Hope & Glory’ when the key in the base is wound. The idea behind this is so that once the biscuits are all gone, the tin will remain as a reminder of the historical occasion, and could once again be reused similarly to many other of Fortnum & Mason's products.
